WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT DESCRIPTION
This assignment work tells us about the types of search engines and websites, with their features explaining each one of them using images. It covers the following:

• Purpose of the website 
• Features of the website 
• Improved features
• Advantages and disadvantages of two types of website.

The work I am including here is my first assignment for this unit.  I had to describe a number of websites in terms of their features.  I also had to say how the websites could be improved.

I enjoyed the challenge of this assignment.  It set out the initial work for me in terms of understanding what makes a good website.  This means that when I went on to develop my own site I had a really good idea what kinds of features and functions I needed to use to make it a success.

The unit tied in with quite a few of the other units.  First of all, looking at the different websites helped us in the Online World side of things where we had to do a very similar thing at the start of the course.  Also, the layout and graphics we looked at here then helped us when we were making our own in the Digital Graphics unit.
